Version 1.0 is designed for Anki Desktop on macOS and the iPhone app.

The app has no sign-in, tracking, analytics, or ads. It works over your local network.

Hotspot fallback

If a public or campus network blocks local device-to-device traffic, use your iPhone Personal Hotspot.

Connection help

  1. Open Anki on your Mac and make sure the Oli for Anki desktop add-on is installed.
  2. Click the connect-phone button in Anki, then scan the QR code with the iPhone app.
  3. If the current network blocks local connections, enable Personal Hotspot on your iPhone and connect your Mac to it.
