Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Gymple handles information when you use the Gymple mobile app. Gymple is a workout tracking app that lets you create an account, save workouts, manage templates, create custom exercises, and use optional Premium features.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the app, Gymple may collect and store:
- Account information, such as your email address and authentication identifier.
- Profile preferences, such as display name, avatar color, language, weight unit, and weekly goal.
- Workout data, including exercises, sets, weights, reps, duration, workout names, templates, and custom exercises.
- Purchase entitlement data, such as whether Premium access is active.
- Basic technical information needed to operate authentication, cloud sync, and purchases.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide account login and cloud sync.
- Save and display your workouts, templates, settings, and custom exercises.
- Provide Premium access and restore purchases.
- Maintain app security and prevent unauthorized access.
- Respond to support, privacy, or deletion requests.
Third-Party Services
Gymple uses third-party services to operate the app:
- Supabase for authentication, database storage, and account deletion backend services.
- RevenueCat for managing Premium purchase entitlements.
- Apple App Store for in-app purchases and Sign in with Apple.
- Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
In-App Purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Gymple does not receive or store your full payment card details. Purchase status is used to determine whether Premium features should be active.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers needed to operate the app, comply with legal obligations, protect rights and security, or provide support.
Data Retention
We keep account and workout data while your account is active or as needed to provide the app. You can delete workouts and app data in the app. You can also delete your account from Settings.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account in Gymple by going to Settings, then Data & Privacy, then Delete account. Account deletion removes your app profile and app data from Gymple's backend and removes your authentication account.
If you have an active Apple subscription, deleting your Gymple account does not cancel the Apple subscription. You can manage subscriptions in iOS Settings under your Apple ID.
Your Choices
You can:
- Change app language and unit preferences in Settings.
- Delete workouts, templates, and custom exercises in the app.
- Delete your account from Settings.
- Manage Apple subscriptions through iOS Settings.
Children
Gymple is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can take appropriate action.
International Use
Your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate. By using Gymple, you understand that information may be transferred and processed outside your country of residence.
